Later together with guides and in a group made up of 8 people, you will be led into thick and dense forest of Bwindi that harbors almost half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. Gorilla trekking usually takes between 1-7hrs before contact is made.
Once contact is made, you are given up to 1hr to observe, take pictures with man’s closest relatives in their natural habitat. Nothing is as satisfying as such an activity where you get close to a human like creature that consists of 99 percent of our DNA. Head back to the headquarters after the activity is complete and here you will be awarded a certificate confirming that you participated in gorilla tracking in Uganda.
Your driver/guide will drive you back to where you will spend your evening while enjoying the sights and sounds from the forest, have dinner then rest preparing you for the next day.
